A collaboration with: Shabazz Larkin & Matter Unlimited As global leaders met at the first United Nations Summit for Refugees and Migrants in New York on Sept. 19, 2016, we took to the streets with a mobile mural depicting Syrian refugee children trapped behind a fence to raise awareness of the plight of more than 30 million children who have been forced to flee their homes. Identical trucks were deployed in five countries: New Zealand, South Korea, Ireland, England and the USA to raise awareness and encourage citizens to ask their governments to do more for refugees. Millions of people were talking on Twitter and Instagram in a matter of hours.
